BELLYDANCE SUPERSTARS: LIVE IN PARIS AT THE FOLIES BERGERE features the Bellydance Superstars dance troupe in a captivating and lavish performance at Paris' famed Folies Bergere theater.

The origins of belly dancing date back to 5000 B.C., making it one of the oldest forms of dances in the world. Today, many view belly dancing as both an outlet for creative expression and a unique low-impact workout. This new attitude, coupled with a surge in popularity in the art form, paved the way for Miles Copeland (manager of The Police and Sting) to form the Bellydance Superstars ensemble.

Over the course of three acts, the highly skilled and talented cast dons spectacular costumes and dances solo and chorus numbers set to powerful tribal music. Blending traditional Middle Eastern techniques along with dance styles from other cultures and time periods — including ballet, gymnastics, and dervish spinning — BELLYDANCE SUPERSTARS bridge the styles of East and West into an entirely new concert experience.
