Millions of disabled people have found hope for gaining or reclaiming independence through the assistance of a trained service dog. THROUGH A DOG’S EYES follows the life-changing journey of several individuals as they go through the heartwarming and sometimes difficult process of being matched with a dog that is specially trained to assist them with the simple tasks of daily life. Follow their journey and learn about the science behind the methods used to train these magnificent dogs that not only provide assistance, but a lifelong bond of friendship as well.

The film profiles:

• Quadriplegic Bryson Casey, age 30, who is looking for a dog that will provide him with companionship and help him navigate daily life.

• Aiden, age 6, who was born with cerebral palsy and is looking for a dog that can help him at school and provide silent support in social situations.

• Destiny, age 11, who suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and is hoping to find a dog that has the unique ability to alert her and her family of impending seizures.

• Twins Chase & Connor, age 6, born with a form of cerebral palsy, are looking for a dog to assist with their everyday tasks and possibly assist with their dream of one day walking.
